I couldn\u2019t eat. I couldn\u2019t do anything. I was just empty. Broken in every way a human being could possibly be broken and completely unable to even take care of myself.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tShe stopped eating, lost a significant amount of weight<\/a>, and even wore a wig to hide how thin her face had gotten. But no matter how hard things were, her 3-year-old son, Sidney<\/a>, always came first.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWhenever he walked in the room, something would come over me, and I\u2019d snap into Miss Fun Mom,\u201d Kelly said in an interview with The Mail<\/em><\/a>. \u201cI didn\u2019t cry in front of him. \u2026 I always made sure that he was not exposed to inappropriate sorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tToday, Kelly is eight months sober, in therapy, and channeling her experience into a three-part documentary about grief to help others navigating loss \u2014 accepting that while she\u2019s permanently changed, she\u2019s ready to move forward.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI\u2019ll never be the person I was before my father died\u2026 a part of me died, too,\u201d Kelly told HELLO!
