NASHVILLE — In this video, Elliot Tapper, MD, FAASLD, discusses a presentation from the ACG Annual Meeting about when it is safe to stop cancer therapy when it results in hepatitis.

“While it might feel inelegant to simultaneously turbocharge someone’s immune system to attack their cancer while also try to cool it off to avoid hepatitis, these are the kinds of compromises that we make for the patients we see each and every day,” Tapper, professor of medicine at the University of Michigan, told Healio.
