“It’s an exciting time for viral hepatitis in pregnancy,” Kushner, associate professor of medicine and director of outcomes clinical research in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at Weill Cornell Medicine, told Healio.
In the early morning session, experts talked about updated guidelines from AASLD/IDSA for hepatitis B and hepatitis C treatment with antivirals in pregnancy.
